All fixed, Just got this on my email:

We have learned that some of the codes Electronic Arts provided to us to unlock the bonus sniper rifle for Battlefield: Bad Company were not working correctly. If your original code did not unlock the sniper rifle, please use this new one below. If you have already unlocked the sniper rifle no further action is required.

Your unique code: EFUS-2RKH-GEZ3-****

This code will work on both Xbox 360 and PS3 platforms.

Be sure to select the sniper rifle at the Spawn Screen.

Very Important: The sniper code will not work on the demo version of the game. You must have the actual game in order to download it.

1. Enter the game disc in your console’s disc drive.

2. At the Main Menu, select MULTIPLAYER.

3. At the Multiplayer menu, select UNLOCKS.

4. Select the Redeem Code option.

5. Type in your code.

6. You are now ready to use your sniper rifle during your next online session.

I heard about that mess lol. The rifle isnt all worth it though lol. It does 30 damage... and you have to aim way ahead of where the enemy is running when firing long range. Glad you got your code lol, but im sticking to the 3 basic sniper rifles lol

Then, one of the guys said, "Maybe Sunday."  I was in awe of his stupidity that I just said, "Screw this...", ran to GameStop and bought it.

this is true becasue you have to use the coriolis <---check spelling  effect , using clicks like 3clicks up and 5 to the left. its not hard there is actually a mathmatic equation that is used, my cousin is a Marine Corps Sniper and he showed me how to do the equation once, but lost me at here is how you do this..........lol so yeah. it's hard to hit your targets on here, but it can be done.

The coriolis effect is the rotational effect of the earth spinning... it's also the thing that causes the water to spin going down the plughole I think (could be wrong though).

Come to think of it, didn't the COD4 mission, One Shot One Kill mention it?

One thing I would have liked with the sniper rifle is a zoom mode. Sometimes you lose the damn target when scoping and coming all the way out and back in again is STOOOOPID... lol. Then again a real sniper would have a spotter. Actually I wonder how a shooter and spotter with Laser Designator binocs would do... My guess is that the sniper could really kick ass and the spotter could take out armour too.

yep, CoD4 did mention that, although on two occasions i got one shot 3 kills due to excessive curvature from the wind.  Nothing like killing the buyer, the seller, and a random terrorist in one bullet...

Although I havent seen much of having to aim up, just aiming ahead of them in BC. Ill take another look at it, but if you dont like aiming ahead of your targets i suggest you use the barrett. the bullet speed is ridiculous.

One thing that this game has over COD4... You CAN snipe a chopper pilot.

When I shoot someone 3 feet away in the back with several bursts from an assault rifle then several bursts to the head I expect them to drop and not turn around and fire NO shots at me and yet I still get killed by them shooting me I would expect it's lag.

In fact the Americans are complaining that the lag is due to us Brits getting the game now. I've actually reported one guy for abuse on the EA forums...

yesterday and previously this game NEVER lagged. today it lags when you move around, the guy moves himself, i stop the controller he keeps moving. its all those babies from Ingland who just went online today becuase it was released today for them they are BOGGING down our AMERICAN SERVERS! GET OFF OUR SERVERS!!!! FIX IT DICE!

He can't even spell England right...  And he forgets that Europe got the game too... I heard a lot of French and German online last night.

I only had real bad lag yesterday for a few games.

I noticed only in one that there were some Brits in game, but I don't know if they were in the US or UK, it doesn't matter.  Everyone was bitchin' about lag.  It was awful.

I went to another game, same thing.  So it's not because of anyone, but because of EVERYONE.  KIDS GO BACK TO SCHOOL GOD DAMN IT!
