Something new: I played CoD4 online for the first time in about six months and the guy I was playing against left because I RPG'd him twice. He actually didn't just leave, he threw a hissy fit and then stomped off TeamSpeak.
As it looks, they're holding out (probably until the huge release of new games) which won't work because people need something new. Which makes me wonder how World at War will turn out if IW releases something new...two CoD games competing against each other for players.

yes that will be interesting seeing the too compete.. im sick of iw talking things up then holding off on releases....drives me crazy.
im going to give cod5 a go. if not just for the co-op. ill also give brothers in arms a go. thats going to be great fun co-op. im not sure bout the single player though..

They're deliberately holding back on the update, or they've undergone some really annoying bugs. Either way, we won't get the update in October, that's for certain (probably when WaW comes out). I bet the update will not be worth it; people will come to realize that they wasted their time for a minor change and will go to other games.
I expect the update to be more of a depressant that any other.
