What is Fallout 3?
Fallout 3 is a Action/Advanture RPG being devloped by Bethesda Game Studios who devolped the popular Elder Scrolls series.

What is the rating of fallout?
The game will be rated M for mature in the USA and 18 in the united Kingdom. Sorry to the Aussie, the game is coming out in Australia but it will not have everything in it the US and UK versions will have do to restrictions.

When and where is Fallout 3 based?
Fallout 3 is based in Washington, D.C, MaryLand and Virginia in the Year 2277, 200 years after the nuclear war between China and the USA in 2077.

How is the game played?
The game uses diffrent perks and and attributes to create your character which is done through the childhood of the protaganist. The game can be played in a First person, or third person view.
Also unlike the first two Fallouts the game will be played in real time unlike the original turn based gameplay the game had.
There will also be an ability to pick body parts out to shoot which will been show in slow motion to show the msot possible gore.

What is the max Level?
The max level for fallout 3 is 20.

Will there be level Scaling?
No unlike the Elder Scrolls games fallout 3 will most likely not ahve level scaling.

Will previous factions make an apperance?
The Brotherhood of Steel will make a reppearance, the Super Mutants, and the Enclave.

Does the story in Fallout 3 pick up where Fallout 2 ended?
No, the story in Fallout 3 is a different story unto itself and isn't directly connected to any of the other storylines. Obviously it builds on the lore and history of Fallout, but you don't have to have played the previous Fallout games to know what's going on in this one.

Note more will be added later.

Having appropriate-level enemies to go against. In Oblivion, if you're level 1, you fight goblins and wolves. At level 15, you get magic resistant, magic-wielding beings who can rip you apart if you're not careful.

it also affects your armor and weapons.

you can't get the super powerful/cool stuff until you're a higher level.

but in this game it looks like that won't be a factor.

and awesome 50s music that goes against the mood of the game.

kinda like bioshock.

it really upped the freakyness factor by playing really happy sounding music in a world that was really crazy and violent.

Well from here on out, this thread is a question thread as well, so any question ask them here, and I or amybe others will answer them. Anything else about the game start into another thread. Thats the best way to go about it, as there was a question at the start.

Why do drive through ATM's have braille on them?

« Reply #10 on: May 05, 2009, 06:46:55 PM »

question 1:  Why do all the Brotherhood members have cool laser gatlin guns, and I don't?  I've searched everywhere and can't find one, even searched those stupid stupid tunnels infested with those faggot deathclaws.  I don't want to kill a brotherhood member to get one, although the idea is sounding better and better.

question 2:  In the Underworld, I did the quest to own the slave/friend ghoul, and he's stuck in a glitch, he said "I have to take care of something" and now stands in a doorway for....for....well, forever so far.  I tried shooting him, but he just shot me back, thus making me shoot back, creating a gun battle(not cool).

You can easily pick one up from enclave troops, or buy them, Lucky Harith will possibly sell one if you invested, and Flak and Shrapnel sometimes have them in. There is one there, it near the pool of blood, this is the sanctuary.

Reload a past save? Other wise no idea.

Is it just me, or does the Dart Gun seem to take most of the fun out of the game.  I just shoot them with the dart gun, shoot their weapon out of their hand, then shishkabob them to death.  Oh yeah, pinning heads to walls via railway gun is very entertaining, and so is force feeding .32 rounds down mutant throats, suckas!
