I'm a big fan of the splinter cell series. And this one looks good,
The release date hasnt been confirmed.

This is just a quick put together of the game,
They are currently improving it.. I like how he blocks the door with objects.

Dude, that video is 15 months old. They had a wroking game at the end of 2007, then NoobieSoft delayed it to Q1 2008 saying they needed more time to perfect it before finally putting the whole project on hold and delaying it to fiscal year 2009-2010 (UbiSoft's fiscal year starts and ends in March IIRC.)

It looks like the rumors claiming the game has gone back to the drawing board are true and chances are the game has changed substantially. Good is all I have to say! They f*cked the series up enough Double Agent and the new game looked like crap to almost every long time fan of the series and hardcore SC player. Anyone who has played the three first games and really enjoyed them knows what I mean.

copper i know what you mean.

when i first saw that video a while back.
i was really dissapointed.

that's not what splinter cell is about.

now about double agent, i understand where you didn't like it as much.

but i enjoyed it.
it was a little different but they still kept what's good about splinter cell IMO.

Chaos Theory will always be the best to me.

Time based and daylight maps are not Splinter Cell. The Iceland mission aside from being a little short was near perfect.

I always forget about that mission. I just went through the chapter names and Iceland and Sea of Okhotsk are the two good ones. Shanghai had a few nice scripted events.

but copper i really enjoyed seeing sam in a new light.. literally.

yes night missions are original splinter cell, but i thought it was really really cool that they put him in new situations.

i agree that the community is split right down the middle in SC.

however i'm not really on either side.

i'd be happy with more of the same SC, however, i also didn't have a problem with the new stuff they implemented.

i do agree that the conviction video that came out forever ago was NOT AT ALL what splinter cell is.

they just changed it up wayyyyyy too much.

I think conviction is gonna be awesome.
Maybe cause Im a big fan of harrison ford in "The Fugitive" and bourne movies.  Grin
