It was Rufus' idea to make a sticky of this and I think it's a good idea. Just say where the rarer weapons, points of intrest and the likes and I will update accordingly.

This list may contains spoliers

Super Mutant Behemoths Locatons;

Location: Evergreen Mills. (Comfirmed)
Specifics: He's outside in a cage above the Slave Pens; not hard to miss
considering his size. You can shoot him down while he's stuck in
the cage, or let him out and fight him on the battlefield. That
is, after he goes on a rampage against some Raiders first.

Location:  West of Jury Street Metro Station which that is west of vault 101.
Specifics: search for a container or shoping cart cage. Be careful, because as soon
as you take out the teddy bear, the Behemoth will be charging
down a hill directly behind you.

Location:  Galaxy News Radio Plaza (Comfirmed)
Specifics: During Main Quest: Galaxy News Radio, you'll battle this one
alongside the Brotherhood of Steel in the Plaza.

Location:  Takoma Motors Auto Shop. (Comfirmed)
Specifics: In the parking lot in front of the Factory. Make sure that you're
alone when you fight the Behemoth as there are other Super Mutants
in the area that can make your fight a whole lot harder. Use the metro
tunnels behind GNR to get there and you should go past Vault-tec building.
it's on the far east side of D.C

Location:  Capitol Building West Entrance (Comfirmed)
Specifics: Follow the Talon mercenaries, either by trailing them or killing
and following the bodies, and you'll end up in a huge circular
room. There will be a few more Talon mercenaries trying to battle
it and failing; feel free to finish the job.

Weapons;

Occam's Razor
-Found on the body of the Talon Company commander at Fort Bannister
-Believe this is possible an easter egg to Mehrune's Razor in Oblivion.

The Ripper
-a handheld chainsaw, great melee weapon

Found in the Sewer Maintenance system entrance on the outskirts of Greyditch.
-In a room just off the main sewer system, it has a bright yellow flashing light on it.
-Once you get into the room (a mind-of mini-quest, but I won't spoil it here) it's on the right, middle rung of a shelf.

The Vampiric Blade
-a decent melee sword, no bonuses of any kind
-found in Vance's sword cabinet (in the quest Blood Ties)-- either pickpocket the sword cabinet key off Vance or lockpick the cabinet itself...

Silenced 10mm Pistol
  - No bonus damage other normal pistol but gun shots will not warn over enemies in the area.
-Can use normal Pistols to repair it, but you need atleast a skill of 60 in repair.
-Can be found at the entrance of vault 108 or Mister Burke owns one.
  - Found during the Those Quest, look in the lockers in the big halls that connect the track

Powerfist "Fisto!"
  - MDPL-13 Powerstation, upper level, desk.
-Found this in an Enclave Crate outside the Deathclaw Sanctuary, maybe a random spawn though.

Lincoln Repeater
   - Museum of History offices upstairs in a display case

Reservist Rifle
   - A sniper rifle which does more damage but only holds 3 rounds.
   - Found at a chapel south east of Raven Rock.
   - Explosives may have to be used to get the body or the gun down if they have not dropped to the floor due to the enemy being on a raised platform.

Sydneys Ultra SMG
    - Can be gotten off of sydney, either killing in her or giveing a note.
    - She can be found in the national Archives.

Ol'Painless
  - Found in Republic of dave in Dave's safe
  - Needs a key to get to, found on Dave.

Armour

Ranger combat Armor
  - Gives LK+1 AP+5 and Small +10
  - Choice of Gear after doing the quest riley's rangers.

Schemtics;

Rock-it Launcher-
Can be brought from any wandering Merchent, or Moria at Craterside Supplies in Megaton.
Requires;
Vacum Cleaner
Leaf Blower
Conductor
Hose Nozzle

PS: This weapons great, it fires almost anything and does a fairly decent amount of damage in the early game.

Nuka-Cola bomb
Can be brought from Crazy Wolfgang (Wandering Merchent) or you get it after doing the quest Nuka-Cola Tour.

Locations;

1. The Oasis, located on the northern part of the map, entrance can be gotten to from the west through a pass. You can tell your there because of plants. You get a quest here
2. Evergreen Mills, contains a Behemoth
3. Scrapyard, south of minefield, you can gain the companion DogMeat here.
4. Regulators HQ, can be found north east of the scrapyard, mainly east.
5. Agatha's House, can be found west of Scrapyard, a small rope and wooden Bridge should show you it's entrance, and maybe a trade caravan standing there. You gain a quest here
6. Paradis Hills, part of the solution to get into Little Lampost, btu you can get a quest here and make it possible to earn money by gavering slaves.
7. Reilly's Rangers HQ, can be found on the south eastern side of D.C, you can acces after doing a quest and you can gain acces to this area and gin money by finding new areas.
8. Temple of Union, a place of slaves, you can get a quest from here.
9. Underworld, a city of Ghouls, found in the bottem of the Museum of History, can get a quest here.
10. GrayDitch, a palce overrun by giant Ants, can get a quest here.
11. Vault 106 is a great place to go to have a freaky moment
12. Vault 108 has something random in it, so go an explore it.

A behemoth? If so can you be more precise, if a minigun, easily found on Brutes, and the occasionl raider or enclave soldier.

I believe they can be found as well, not 100% sure on this.

And you will recongnize a Behemoth when you see one, they are about 3x your height, and usually only do a melee attack. Brutes on the otherhand look better armoured then normal Super Mutants and usually carry a Minigun or assualt rifle, onccasionally they have a Mallet.

Would be a great idea if any of us owned the game on the PC and had explored the whole map, I doubt anyone has done that yet. Otherwise the moment one has been found, I will put it up.

Sydneys Ultra SMG found on Sydney on the quest Stealing independance. Now I don't know if you cant get it if she doesn't die but I didn't kill her she was killed by super mutants. It can be repaired by normal 10mm SMG's and does around 50 damage if kept in good condition.

Ol'Painless a hunting rifle found in the republic of Dave. In Daves safe, a key is required which can get from Dave. Not sure if there is much difference between this and a normal Hunting rifle but I think it has a higher rate of fire and does slightly more damage. It can be repaired using normal hunting rifles.

Bobblehead location:

In the Dunwitch building, all the way down to the lower story-- access through the Forsaken ruins then through the Virulent Basement (I think its basement, Virulent something or other at least). Ok, so if you go all the way down you'll find a Ghoul preaching to about half a dozen ghouls down there (the whole place is jam packed with ghouls). Do what you want with them, but on the way back from where you came there's a branch off to the left that goes up some stairs. At the top of that is the 10% melee bobblehead.

And a tip about the Dunwitch location:

I'm a sneaky character with a high melee percentage: 80%. But I saved a ton of ammo and more importantly, had a f^ckin blast sneaking up and silently killing most of the ghouls here. In a few instances it was amazing-- I'd stalk up to one ghoul in a room full of em, take him down... a nearby ghoul would go on 'Caution' alert and literally pace around where I was crouching/sneaking. I'd have to wait until my action points built back up and sneak attack the next guy (in VATS). Doing that to a room full of ghouls is the good frackin times! You can also sneak kill Jamie (the sort-of boss at the lowest level), but it's like threading a needle. There's at least 6 ghouls roaming around him, and he stays in a lit portion of the cave. But it can be done! This was quite possibly my favorite location to date... ninja for the win...

I pulled one better, not on my sneaky character and only got attacked by Jamie, ghoul mast ftw  Roll Eyes

There's a jumpsuit for vault 77 located in Paradise Falls. In that shack with the pool tables. I think it is on this shelf located beneath the staircase.

What is so scary about the dunwich building anyway?

Well, it might not have been as scary because I had the ghoul mask on and I got to avoid fighting feral ghouls.

The freakiest thing I found was that at one point I found a few severed heads on this desk. I thought nothing of it because I am used to this. Out of curiosity, I tried picking it up but the head was bound to the desk. While I was searching the place, I came across the desk again to find that the severed heads were gone.

There is also that flashback moment, I didn't notice it the first time, but doors will close themselves behind you, only noticed the second time because I didn't have the radio on so I heard the door close. Also Glowing Ones, they just seem like ghosts in the dark when you haven't got your pip-boy light on.  Shocked

Also Dude Slayer, finish it, you get a bobble head later on, unarmed or melee skill one I think.

Found another special weapon that's not in your list Guyyug... Occam's Razor. Found on the body of the Talon Company commander at Fort Bannister. It's pretty crap but it is a named weapon (only does 10 damage IIRC).

Prototype Medic Power Armour (talking power armour lol) found in Deathclaw Tunnels under Old Olney.

I just found this weapon recently.

Victory Rifle
-This thing is found in an abandoned shack west of Rockbreaker's Last Gas.
-100 Lockpicking is a must in order to open the locker the gun is in.
-Note: This weapon can knock down foes if a critical hit is achieved.
-Can be repaired with regular sniper rifles.

Blackhawk
-Very powerful version of the Scoped .44 Magnum, and can only be earned after the quest Agatha's Song. It's her version of a reward if you give her a sheet music book.
-Can be repaired with regular Scoped .44 Magnums.
-Can kill very powerful foes in a single VATS head shot with high Small Guns, and only if it's a sneak attack critical.

The Wazer Rifle
-Locate Biwwy in Little Lamplight and if you have Child at heart perk you can get it for free
-he is in the great chamber
I seem to get lots of critical headshots all the time and it has a greater ammo capacity
