Anyone playing L4D much besides me or did most of you get World at War? Anyway, I finally beat a campaign on expert and it was probably the best run I've had in the game to date.

I now join the 2.6% of people who have beaten any campaign on expert. YAY!

Turn Full Captions on in the Audio Options, stick together at all times, and if someone goes way out in front and they get attacked, don't rush to help if you're also being attacked (it's the number one way I've died, because I try to do everything).

Witches are best ignored on expert. Period. Lol, They are practically fatal unless your whole team's ready, and even then its difficult if you make a mistake or under certain circumstances.

If you can, make your whole team wait and aim up. Then Open up at the same time. Funniest/most awesome moment ever. She gets full of lead and is dead haha.

and for all infected bosses or when your knocked down you cannot get yourself out at all.

You can prevent thou, being "grabbed" or hit by their special by doing the following:

Hunters: headshot while leaping or beforehand. Hitting them when they are near you, or about to get on you will deflect them.

Smokers: Same idea, but when you get grabbed, you usually have a short time to shoot (or hit if near it) the smoker before he pulls you enough and you can't do a thing

Boomers: Hit them and shoot, they stumble back a pretty good distance and from there the explosions can't hit you and I think if you hit them right as they are about to vomit it stops it O-o. Mild observation, not even sure completely.

eronios, question, for boomers, i know it helps if you get more of the survivors, means probably more infected coming, but i've noticed the amount has ranged to a huge horde to well, not even a puddle.
I'm assuming that it has to do with how many times done since last horde, and where you are on the map?

Before playing the game, I didn't realize how much more strategic the boomer still has to be, its not -vomit- and instahorde.

I think the swarm sizes are controlled by The Director because I've noticed the same thing.

There's currently a bug which allows you to get up right behind the Witch and blast her away in two hits on Expert, but you have to be directly behind her with no space between you and her.
