First let me say that I realize I don't post a lot but I have been here since the beginning and am on this site multiple times a day. I am more of a reader than a typer but I thought it was time I speak up.

As an old school skater (real) from 86' till recently I have seen the sport evolve in many different ways. Some good, some bad but as a whole it has evolved which as any sports enthusiast will tell you is the most important thing to longevity. Unfortunately after 20+ years skating I had to have my leg amputated due to an infection (long story). After the surgery I tried to get back into skating but it just wasn't the same. I have found longboarding which has become my vise so not all is lost. I did miss not being able to do the things that I could at one point but you learn to get over it.

When the OG Skate was released I was all over it. A chance to feel some small bit of on board creativity again in any way shape or form would just be great. Thankfully it lived up to my expectations and gave me that creative outlet I had been searching for. As with any game there were some things I would change, who wouldn't but all in all I was truly impressed with the time and dedication the Black Box team spent on keeping things realistic. For well over a year I poured my creative soul into this game unlike any other I had previously experienced. When the first mention of Skate 2 found its way to my ears I immediately felt those same felling's that I had prior to the first game. The feeling of nervousness in the fact of will they pull off this realism thing again. As hard as it was to capture it once can they improve on it without messing the simplicity of it up? Well as a life long skater and long time fan of the title I can say with certainty that I am once again impressed! I have that creative feeling all over again and more intense than ever, I hope it never stops. Thank you Black Box! Thank you for giving me that feeling back! Thank you for taking time to find out what we want! Thank you for taking the time to pull it off! Thank you for the little stuff like the videos once a week and Cuz and his blog cause you know he keeps it G.....did I just type G???? Anyway's. Implementing little things like this make us fans feel like we are truly apart of the Black Box/Skate team.

So without rambling to much just a little note from me to you guys to say thanks for everything and not just doing it once but having the balls to try to do it again and pulling it off, simply impressive. Even though my leg is gone as long as I have my flick-it thumb I am good!

Wow. And I heard this guy is getting a free copy of skate. 2 and some skate shirts.
