Well I doubt you could appreciate this game without appreciateing skateboarding.

You don't see me buying Baseball games, or World of Warcraft shit, I don't appreciate those types of games.
And also, I can't stop playing this game!

Well I just had a go at Skate 2 and it's OK but the camera is bloody AWFUL.

For example, in the film "Schools In" you have to grind 2 rails. When you start off the camera is OK but then it drops so your body hides the bloody rail so you have to guess when to Ollie. Now for me that's bloody pathetic. REALLY bad camera coding. Half the time it drops and you can't see what the hell is coming up. I tried setting it to High but it seems to make no difference whatsoever.

If they fixed the camera it would be an 8 for me... but the camera makes such a mess up that I give it a 5/10.

Yeah, but don't you think being able to see the grind rail before you jump onto it is a good idea? School's In pretty much stuffs that up. I should have taken a picture of it but I took the game back to Blockbuster yesterday (I had it a week and forgot about it because I was playing Battlestations: Pacific too much lol).

If the camera stayed up like it is right at the start it would be OK but it drops to the point where your body blocks the view. When I set it to High it doesn't do sod all. This is my main hate for third person games... your body blocking what you should be looking at. Now if the camera had multiple viewpoints other than just two that don't seem to the same then I would have bought the game because I really had some fun for a while but trying to judge the jumps and grinds gets to be annoying after a while.

Oh and another thing... the delay before the camera pans was making me seasick at one point... seriously...

Like I said... Great game, crap camera... If I could choose a locked camera view for some of the challenges it would make it tons better.

Quite a few games gave you several options to where the camera is. Skate 2 gives you the choice of 2 which are not much different to each other. It's the fact that as you go to turn the camera pans late and throws off your direction. When I'm off board I was getting sea sick as I tried to turn then turn back as I overshot because of the camera lag. That was when I was getting seasick lol.

Another glitch was that sometimes after going high on the U tubes I would end up with my board wheels being below the floor and I couldn't move... I had to use the memory location to move again.

It was another skateboarding game!

Tony Hawk: THUG..  now that was awesome...

Memory Location? ahhaha. on the game its called Session Marker.
Ive seen about every glitch in the game..Riding next to a wall and it sucks you in.. haha.

Yeah... Session Marker. I only played a few hours with it but did some really fun things with it. Like jumping off a ramp, bouncing off the roof of a car and landing on the other side of the road. I did try to land in the back of a pickup truck but kept missing and ending up UNDER the car heh.
