Edit: Just had to look at my logs and I lied... Delta top speed was 160... god my memory sucks.. I was sure I reached 210 at one point...

Oh and this was with 8 wheels...

Me and a bunch of friends were pissing about doing runway landings on roller skates during a parachuting weekend... I ended up smashing my goggles when I faceplanted due to a gust of wind spoiling my bloody flare... and I ended up with a bloody nose (not broken thank god). The Delta is a head down arrow shape in freefall btw.

um around 120 in a friend of mines 09 chevy dually, that thing is a bad beast.

I dont know for sure what the fastest speed ive gone is cause the speedometer in my car only went up to 180kph but it had gone all the way around and was back at 40kph.  I would take my best guess at it being somewhere around 220kph (136mph) but thats only a guess, could be faster could be slower?.

P.S.  This was in my 1978 4 door pontiac pheonix spray painted black with gold trim (13 cans black spray paint, 3 cans gold) and the front springs had a diamond saw taken to them to lower the front end which the front crossmember sat 2 inchs off the ground afterwards.  Also there was a leak in the fuel line under the drivers door and the gas tank in the rear had a small leak in it and when you were hauling ass down the highway it would bottom out all the time and send sparks flying out from under the car making it a time bomb.  Man that car was a rush!

you should never ever ever cut springs. it cuases the spring rate to go out of whack and you will have no idea if the springs are stiff enough for the car, which could cause you to loose control of the car... if you want a lowered car do it right.. shocks, springs, camber kits..

My Forza cars have the equivelant of cut springs then... well my Quattro does at least... That thing loses control at the drop of a hat.

I really should learn how to tune better...

how does the car react ? does it feel very springy, or does it feel like there is no springs on it

It feels like there are no damned tires on at the corners... it just slides off the road.

When it came to my Pheonix though i was in highschool and i payed $250 for the car when i bought it, i really wasnt going to hurt the car by doing that to it, lol.   Almost lost control once though coming over the hill into town when the front hit the road and started boucing towards the meridan, that got my heart going.  Eventually my buddy tryed sitting on the hood of the car as i passed him in the parking lot and slide up into the windshield putting his ass through it and was almost sitting in the passenger seat.  After that the cops felt it was not road legal so they impounded it right in the school parking lot so we spent the next couple days smoking the tires off of it before taking a cutting torch to the roof and cutting it off then selling the car to 3 guys for $60 and they took it up a mountian and crashed it into trees.
