the G-man. he's been one of those secretive, shady characters that showed up occasionally in the first Half-Life.

So far, I'm liking this game as well. I'm negotiating Half-Life: Episode 2, and so far, so good, especially on the other ones I've gotten through. The achievements are actually feasible, and it's very much possible to get them all in a single playthrough. I can get immersed in the story with enough time, but this game, like nearly all FPS games, suffer from the floating weapon syndrome. Oh well, at least I'm playing as an ordinary man trying to make a difference using his "Nerd Rage" perk. Plus, Alyx isn't too bad looking lol.

Portal is great, but it's very possible to become sick from playing this game because of the way the character turns in proportion to the position of the portals. Although I did find it the dialogue very entertaining and scary at the same time, coming from a supercomputer that loves to lie about cake for some strange reason.

I like Team Fortress 2 for its excellent balance; no one class is superior to the rest, nor is any of them inferior to another. The only downside is that the player fanbase on the console version is meager at best, while the PC version's fanbase is huge. Of course, that's because TF2 came out on PC first, so that's fully expected.

Also, I don't physics has anything to do with how much I like the gameplay. I don't like the whole "Spaceman on Earth" approach (Halo), but I prefer believable physics in games. Nothing uber-realistic, where the game gets incredulously fast because of the extremely limiting physics and stuff. Also, a believable storyline works for me as well. Wow, games like the Orange Box are hard to come by.

OMG... I though you meant you had finished the final level on ep2 which is the ultimate in bad conversion (there seem to be a lot less ammo than on the PC). I've completed this on the PC but the damned 360 version is damned impossible because of the damned Hunters (think mini-tripods on steroids).

There is episode 3 which is due out in 2008... oh yeah... Ep 3 is LATE FFS!
