Since everyone has responded, I'll continue. I'll only post the results from chosen answers from here on out because I might be able to recycle some unused things and save a lot of time.

Day 1, Part 2 Results:

First section
If you,

A.) Jam a chair underneath the front door’s knob and check the TV for any news: You grab a wooden dining chair and fix it securely under the doorknob. The banging lessens slightly but it still creeps you out that the person hasn’t stopped pounding yet. You cross the living room and turn the television on. A news broadcast shows scenes of destruction from all around the Midwest U.S. The broadcaster advises that people stay in their homes, lock everything up, and wait for official word from the government. Several evacuation spots, which you are told should ONLY be used if you can safely exit your home, are highlighted on a small map. You notice the closest is the J.I. Case High School on Oakes Road on the western edge of the city. You follow the anchor’s advice and start pushing your couch and other furniture to block the windows. As you continue to listen to the broadcast, the deranged people start pounding on your house. ALIVE

E.) Gather supplies, check the TV, and sneak out the back door: You decide it’s best to get yourself prepared for the road. You get dressed and take an old backpack and stuff it with bottled water and as much food from your fridge and pantry as possible. You also take a flashlight from the utility drawer in the kitchen and a big butcher's knife, just in case. You check the TV quick and see that evacuation points have been set up across the region, with the closest being the J.I. Case High School on Oakes Road, which is on the western edge of the city. You unlock the back door and head out into the darkness of your backyard. ALIVE

Second section (for SupaPenguin)

C.) Grab a weapon, go downstairs, lock the house up again: You go to your closet and remove the four foot metal bar holding your clothes up. The clothes slide into a messy pile at the bottom of the closet. You head downstairs cautiously and see the front door is hanging on by only one hinge. You put the door back in place and head to the kitchen to get your hammer and some nails from the utility drawer. On your way back, one of the men who assaulted the woman enters your house after completely knocking the door down. He screams and runs straight for you. You drop the hammer and nails and shove the metal bar into his chest, immediately halting his momentum and in effect clotheslining him. You close the distance and beat his face into a bloody mess, toss the now-bent bar aside, then go back to look for the hammer and nails. You only find a few nails thanks to the low level of light but it’s better than none. You quickly put the door into the frame and nail the doorway shut. The sounds of more attackers grows near and soon your door and windows are being beaten by the mob. ALIVE

Day 1, Part 3

If you are still in the house (everyone but Homeles, Haggard, and Red),

A.) Try to sneak over to your car (through the back door).
B.) Board the entire house up.
C.) Gather supplies into a backpack then check the TV for more information.

If you went out the back door,

A.) Try to sneak to your car.
B.) Make your way through your neighbors’ backyards with the flashlight on.
C.) Make your way through your neighbors’ backyards with the flashlight off.

I don't want to be packing stuff into a backpack only to find it's like WaW and the Zombs climb through a window and chomp on my while I'm choosing what gun I want. Plus if I'm boarding up the house I have loads of weapons at hand... Like a hammer, boards... or if you are like me... NAILGUN!!!

Oh yeah and I have a minigun in my toolbox that I ca... oh.. right.. no bloody miniguns! DAMNIT.
