This game looks cool. I know im not the only godfather fan here..
here's my fav trailer..
Small | Large

Quote
Setting
The Godfather II will take place in the late 1950s and early 1960s over three cities: Havana, Cuba, New York City, and Miami, Florida. Michael Corleone orders the player character, Dominic, to take charge of the family after the death of his New York Don Aldo Trapani, the protagonist and player character of The Godfather: The Game. Now as Dominic, the player leads the family to defeat other, international families and take control of various businesses and crime rings, in order to become the most powerful Don in America.

Plot
Although "inspired by" the film, the game will deviate from the film's plot; for example, the flashbacks of Vito Corleone's early life in Sicily will not be featured. Many of the stars of the film will lend their likenesses and voices to the game; this includes Robert Duvall returning to voice Tom Hagen. However, Al Pacino again will not voice Michael Corleone and Coppola, the director of the film, is also reported to be uninvolved with the game's development.

To be honest it looks rather crappy to me with the characters looking very poor.

Looks more like "Brutal Sims II" to me lol

didn't play the first one.

probably won't play this one.

it may just be the common sense talking.. but there's just something i don't dig about EA and movie games.

two wrongs most certainly don't make a right.

So we rented it. And I don't really like it. There's just too much going on for a Godfather game. You have to manage all you finances for your family and shit. But the radio kicks ass!

Ehhh.

Wouldnt buy it..
The gunplay in this game is the same as the other one. (which isnt good.)
The driving is really bad. Having a crew is kickass. and that about it..

the story is alright (nothing to brag about.).. Dont waste the money.

Bought it, its not bad at all. The multiplayer is crap, but whatever. The car controls aren't that bad, remember this is in the 1950s, there is no nitro boosts or whatever modern day super cars have that you would expect. Since I'm not one of the many who just played the first few missions, then hated it, I actually went through and played and its a lot better. People will think that the only guys are just the .357 Magnum, Shotgun, Tommy Gun, and some WWII pistol, that's not it. There are weapon upgrades that you can get, Modifed AK-47, SR-98, MP38, etc.

Some mistakes I just know people will make:

- The few first missions are horrible, this isn't the whole game, it gets better, so don't give up after a few minutes of it
- Its not repetitive, its not just you defending all your business and attacking. There's still a story to it, but you slowly take over the city.
- Upgrade your crew.. your getting the money for a reason, upgrades are essential if you don't want to attack a place, and just have your crew do it(Which is what I like to do while I'm playing the story)

I'll hopefully give a bigger review later, going to go to bed, heading to Connecticut in the morning.

Yeah,

Im not "those kids"...

I still play through the story. And for the cars.. I mean CONTROLS..

No modified stuff on the car.. Like it takes forever to turn (compare to gta4.)
So yeah,
Gameplay didnt change as much..Kinda like how CoD5 is exactly like CoD4 with a different setting.

The driving sucks...I don't really care if they're trying to be realistic...it's annoying...

Also for the record, I'm not one of "those kids"...I'm still playing it, and I'm still not really enjoying it...
