anyone here shoot? im a member of the ssaa (sporting shooters assosiation of australia) and am just now getting into full bore (600-700yards)and 100m comps. loving it so far.. Grin

i will go out and shoot traps when i can, just a simple 12 or 20 gauge with a cheap thrower is all i need to have fun.

i haven't tried traps yet... i was thinking  of buying an under-over to go with the new tikka t3 super varmint with bipod in .223 i just orded, but the girlfriend thinks my money would be better places else where.....she was hoping on her ring finger but thats not happening yet haha

Same here I go out when I can, it relaxes me and I can take my mind off of school and everything else.

My dad's friend goes down to the range and owns a couple rifles and a mosin nagant.

My dad's friend goes down to the range and owns a couple rifles and a mosin nagant.

see id love to own a mosin.. you can buy them here for around $1000 with an 6/10 bore so the need alot of work.
id also love to get an lithgow smle (Australian ww2 rifle) and a kar98. kar98's are a bit cheaper as the israeli army used them after ww2, they re-bored them to a 7.62 nato round so ammo is easy to get for them too.

my uncle has a kar98 that still has the eagle stamp on the bolt(rare) but he had to hand in his m1a1 carbine during gun law change here.
