You're the second guy I know that thought it was a Guitar Hero clone.

The other guy was at the Halo ODST launch party. He saw the poster for it and said ''Yeah, like guitar hero. Except with no changes from Guitar Hero whatsoever...''

I quickly said ''Umm...dude...it's a brawler like God of War.''

I MAY get a PS3 if MAG turns out to be good... if it's meh then I won't get one.

Anyone see the PS3 port of Bayonetta? It's really poor compared to the 360 version apparently. Frame rate drop-outs, muddy textures... basically the designer of Bayonetta just hates the PS3. Oh and it was Sega that did the port...

Those are screenshots from the demo, and as Bayonetta isn't releasing until next year, they've got time to fix it...hopefully. Sega is taking full responsibility for the PS3 port so if it gets effed up in translation, it's their ass.

I played the demo and it is extremely ''meh.''

Honestly, if you have played Gears of War then you have played Uncharted. It also hasn't changed much from the first game. The game also makes me wish it had Terminator Salvation's cover system. You can't crouch so the only way to take cover is to duct tape yourself to a wall. And if someone comes up behind you while taking cover and you want to fire at him, you STAND UP out of cover allowing the person you were taking cover from to fire at you as well as the guy you want to fire at.

The whole thing is just so derivative that it isn't worth the trouble. The perks system is taken from Call of Duty. The gunplay and online system is taken from Gears of War. Weapon balance is horrible, there's bullet travel, the list goes on.

And this is coming from someone who has loves Naughty Dog AND the PS3. Skip it and go for Modern Warfare 2, Demon Souls or some other great PS3 game.

Watch that and you'll see why Sessler said that. I'd honestly say skip Modern Warfare 2 because you've played it already, but without the new guns, perks, and killstreak bonuses. It's the same, stupid community of people you faced in the first game and it might actually get even worse because ODST launched about two months before this will and you'll get all the annoying Halo kids. Plus, the new killstreaks are just another way to find an annoyance in an otherwise AAA game.

From what I've read, Uncharted 2 clocks in around 10 hours (while rushing) with plenty of replayability and it's own multiplayer, while MW2 will probably have about 6-8 hours of single player that'll be passed up by a lot of people in favor of the multiplayer aspect.

And Vi, Sessler isn't the only one creaming himself over this game. It's got a Metacritic score of 96 from 64 reviews, with a 9.6 user rating. True, it's only been out two days but this is a title to not miss if you have a PS3.

It is worth noting that you gain EXP for looting.

but to refer back to eronios' post about uncharted, Adam Sessler is the only trustworthy person on the abortion that G4 has become.

(xplay will forever be a techtv show to me)

but if he said that about this game, you can almost definitely guarantee it's a winner.

because he never throws a statement out there like that.. ever.
