If you register your card on the social site you won't be able to download your armour and weapons ingame.

Hi i just installed the game and bought the collector's edition. i got the Cerberus Network card and redeemed it on this website which allowed me to download "collector's edition weapon and armor". However, when I got in game and logged into my EA account etc, it asked me to enter the code to connect to Cerberus Network, I reentered my code and i got the message that it was in use. what gives? can anyone help?

A lot of people are having this problem looks like EA/Bioware assumed people will redeem the code in-game and overlooked the social site.

Picked it up last night at midnight, but the EA servers were all overloaded! Yea, like they couldna seen that coming...

I've noticed that, I would of most likely done it in game anyway. But it should be sorted out by the time me and Neo get it, one good about waiting I guess, still doesn't change the fact I want it!

There are still some plonkers who are entering the codes on the social site and complaining that they can't log into Cerberus ingame... I bet Bioware is going frantic.

I wouldn't enter anything on that site as it is still apparently in Beta. When you login it says things may be broken or not working. There is already a change in the promotions part of the site (ie got rid of the unrecognised item from my list and it really IS a list now).

... AND STILL MORE idiots are going on the social site and posting new threads "I CAN'T DOWLOAD THE DLC"... in fact several of the threads have the exact same title... and I mean EXACT!

Nobody uses search engines these days it seems...

.... didnt read the posts above for lazy tubbz is lazy. so i just got me2 and downloaded cerberus thing.... how do i access the dlc or is it taken down for now cuz of the new rush.

If you entered the code on the social.bioware.com site you are screwed for the time being... Bioware are trying to fix it apparently. Until it is fixed you won't be able to access the DLC if you can't login to Cerberus Network on your console.

Basically the social site is a bit... buggy to say the least, which is why I posted this warning...

Sometimes I'm glad I live in the UK and get the games a few days later than the US... you get to see all the problems ahead of time.

It makes it definately activate that way... some have been doing it on the website and not using the right email address...result is no cerberus activated because the one ingame asks you for the code again... and as you have already used it it says it is in use.
