That argument can be made, but it only limits things like certain jobs you can get (any job that requires drug testing) but given that you are choosing to do the drugs I'm pretty sure your looking to get those jobs anyways.  It is only the person themselves that limit their life, drugs are just an excuse for those who can't accept the truth.  For those who become addicted to drugs (meth, crack, heroin etc.) that can limit their life yes because the drug becomes their life, but all it takes is the will power and the want to leave that life behind.
You could also argue that drugs open up new options in your life giving you opportunity's you might not have had without them, like me when i was a teen;  smoking weed and being around those people gave me the chance to meet many new people and go on some crazy adventures that i would not have been invited to had i not used drugs and those times lead to many options down the road.  It it easily debatable for both sides but in the end it all comes down to you, whether you choose to do it, or not.  Neither choice is wrong because your the one making it and its your life, live it how you want and think nothing of any critic's you hear.

Yeah I've been in many discussions about this subject and they always end one of two ways: 1) one or both partys in the discussion get pissed off that they can't change the others mind or accept that simple last fact i stated and go their own way  2) that last fact is agreed upon and the subject changes.

I wouldn't mind trying it, it not for almost every job requiring drug tests. And I hate when people worship alcohol/cigarettes, yet degrade stuff like marijuana. In my opinion, alcohol and marijuana can both impair judgment to some degree. The difference between the two: alcohol makes food come back up, marijuana makes more food go down.

Thats the one thing i never liked doing when i was high was eat, i know lots of people that smoke weed them munch out after but i find you stay high atleast 15-20 mins longer if you dont eat.  Something about the digestion of nutrients causes the high to not last as long.  With me not eating when high i can get a good 45-60 minute high outta one joint of BC bud.
