What do ranks do now that new guns are earned by kills?

 Huh?

I have found out that there are squad based achievements so we have GOT to get some EG Squad based games in there...

There are two different ways of unlocking weapons in this game. The weapons for all kits are unlocked as you level so at level 2 you get the first shotgun.

The weapons specific to kits such as the XM8 for the assault require you to get a certain number of points with that kit.

As for attachments I have no idea how they work I assume its by getting the stars for the guns.

Gadgets/specializations I think are unlocked on a levelling basis as well but obviously again some are kit specific so it might just be a case of getting a certain amount of points with the kit.

I noticed I had a bronze star for something last night... took me ages to realise it was for the weapons. I thought it was a Bronze Star like what my dad got in WWII (got the medal somewhere).

Can't wait to get my hands on the full game now... have unlocked everything that I can in the demo. Even got the Pink Shotgun...
