Here is another poorly executed bit of code... The damned Varren.

The N7 mission where you have to protect an injured Quarian is really peeing me off on insanity level. The Varren just ignore me and my teammates and go and chomp on the Quarian and in next to no time the mission is over. The Varren even go THROUGH the bloody Singularity field as if it isn't there.

This is where the scripted missions fall flat on their tush... The Varren also have the worst animation I've seen in a game in ages... Hell, the dogs in MW2 are better than this. They don't behave like a wild animal would either... If something is attacking it from the side they just ignore it to go chomp on something that isn't threatening them.

Also, why the hell would you leave an injured person there... You would put them somewhere a lot easier to defend. This is supposed to be a ROLE PLAYING GAME for god's sake... I just wish it would behave a bit more believable at times. For example, if it was me, I would climb up on the rocks and shoot from above... but in ME2 you can't climb on them in that level. Oh well... go back to an earlier save I think as I can't figure out how to do that N7 level on insanity.

Neo, the best way to do Insanity is not to do the N7 missions unless you know they are easy ones. Remember my first insanity plathrough and screwed myself over because I did the N7 mission with the crazy robots, and my last save was about an hour and a half ago.

I'm trying to do them because the fruckin game has glitched and Samara won't give me her loyalty mission... every time I go back to her she wants me to go away while she meditates.

I have this feeling that I will have to go and do the loyalty mission AFTER the IFF one... which means squishy crewmate time (that is if the glitch doesn't clear itself).

Well you could just not do Samara's loyalty mission and make sure you use Jack as the one to put up Biotic shield.

I've come to a conclusion with bioware companions in their games. They never have good AI. Was playing NWN earlier today and god were my companions useless, good job I have an AI mod downloaded for them so they are of some use, as I can change their tactics far more then what bioware give you.

I feel that DA:O is the only bioware game I've played where companion AI hasn't given to much of a problem because you can set their tactics up.

Yeah... I love the DAO AI setup... that and you get 3 companions instead of 2.

I have been having some weird glitches with ME2... I did the Battarian Missile Mission where there are 2 Javelin missiles flying and you have to fight through the defenders and then choose the missile to detonate.

Well I eventually fought through the enemies in time, took out the commander and then pressed the button to detonate the missile... AND THE 360 LOCKED UP WITH ME LOOKING AT THE BACK OF KRIOS' HEAD LOL.

To say that I raged for like 5 mins total after that happened. (we so need a facepalm smiley lol).

I've had that bug a few times, usually only happens if you skip dialogue, the worker on the catwalks during thane's loyalty mission is a prime example of that happening. And then the camera locks up, had it happen talking to chakwas as well.

Basically, this is the reason why I gave up on this game altogether.
