Veteran worked fine for me... I know there is a problem with 1943 vet status apparently still. Should have thought BC1 should have been OK though.

Thing that is REALLY bothering me though is...

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE GOLD?

Exactly Neo.  That's why I was hoping they continued the story from BFBC1.

I had no problems with Veteran Status.  When I went into multiplayer the first time it automatically recognized me and awarded me the M1 Garand.

There's nothing to download right now, correct?

I put in the VIP code and went to the EA store, nothing was showing available to download (for free).  I went to the maps that had the VIP next to it and it said I already had them...    I'm confused.

Those maps are already on the disc, you just need to the code to unlock them and to download the extra maps in a few weeks.

For the amount of extra cash we had to fork out for the limited edition we don't get much do we...  Totally peed off with ripoff developers

CHEAPEST LIMITED EDITION EVER - Can't beat free stuff that really IS free for once...

I'm going to hit the game heavy tonight... been working on this damned forum code for ages it seems.
