This sounds interesting... can't wait for FS to get released though... I love Ghost Recon.

UK, March 10, 2010 - Upcoming tactical shooter Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will get a 20-minute live-action companion film (reports Reuters).

Ubisoft has hired Francois Alaux and Herve de Crecy for the project - the pair won a Best Animated Short Oscar for their film Logorama at this year's academy awards (click here to check it out).

The film - which has been budgeted at $8 - $10m - will serve as a prequel to Future Soldier, setting up the story about a US Special Forces squad. Children of Men writer Tim Sexton is also on board.

This is the second time Ubisoft has used a short movie to publicise a game, with the company producing Assassin's Creed: Lineage to promote Assassin's Creed 2 back in November.

We've got no date for the live-action film, but the game will be released on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC this autumn
