I know I'm probably going to get a lot of "curses" for this...
1. You do not need to quote someone if you're replying to a post directly above yours.
2. Only quote what you are replying to, no need to quote an entire conversation. Edit irrelevant parts out of a quote.
3. Quote pyramids are bad, try and avoid quoting quotes.
The quote feature is in place to aid the continuity of a discussion, not to keep the scroll finger in shape.
A limit on sig sizes would be nice too...

And i agree, sigs should be limited, hence why im going to remove my saving private ryan sig.

Sometimes though you go to put a reply to someone without a quote as it's the response to the previous post and then someone else posts before you... luckily you can insert the quote if needed by clicking... you guessed it... insert quote.... heh.

Agreed!
We're trying to sort out an automatic system whereby quoted photographs or videos are only listed as a link. That would help too.
W/regard to signitures, I have said this before. Heres prime suspect for the snip
