Main reason I'm looking forward to it. I brought FO1 and 2 after getting FO3. Admitly it took me a while to get into them, but now I really enjoy them and have wondered why beth took some things out in FO3.

I'm going straight in HC when this finally comes out. I always take the RP bit in RPGs seriously, and hardcore just adds to it.

Huh, at least now I figured out where those thoughts came from.

After doing some digging, a good portion of the dev team worked on the first two games.

I'm definitely going to be playing this on Hardcore as it builds onto the immersion factor. One of the things I didn't like about FO3 was the fact you could carry tons and tons of ammo. I just hope they don't go the other way and make it so you carry too little.

If it's like what it was in FO1 and FO2. I could usually carry a large amount of extra ammo, but I had to remember where some was because I would need to go back, but only in the most extreme cases.

I like the option between hardcore mode and normal. Its something I thought The Elders Scrolls should do when a bunch of people were complaining that you could hit stuff and actually know where to go.

On the weighted ammo, I remember the time in FO3 were I looked at all my ammo and found over 100 missiles. That was a good day. I'm glad hardcore mode is adding weight, as much fun as it was, it was ridiculous.

Hardcore mode is what FO3 should have been on normal mode.

I remember looking in my inventory and seeing enough ammo to fill a bloody warehouse... including 10 mini-nukes IIRC.

I don't think I used a mini-nuke once would you believe... waste of a weapon imho.

If you were to look at the stuff in my game, you'd think I was preparing for another war. I have at least 45 mini-nukes, 350 missiles, 12,000 minigun rounds, 1300 .44 Magnum rounds, and some other things. Basically, my character can resupply the entire Brotherhood of Steel and have more than enough to exterminate all life in the wasteland.

*topic* I'm definitely gonna play this game on realistic mode. Carrying an entire armory can get a little boring.

I used them on Behemoths, and large numbers of enemies in a pinch, having three deathclaws on you calls for one!

Though I rarely used the fatman, because I restricted myself on how many weapons I can use, two primary, a side arm and a melee weapon.

Textures look slightly better then FO3 did. And I'm going to get myself a NCR uniform, they look really nice.  Tongue

Hardcore mode, the addition of iron sights, hopefully a ''no HUD'' mode, this game is shaping up nicely.
