I may buy another 3 months' worth before the price hike. One thing's for sure: I'm gonna switch to PC gaming before any more new consoles hit the market.

Probably relying on grabbing new sales with Halo coming along and the christmas shopping/releases coming out in the near future. It doesn't affect too many people now as most bought a 12 month card and are still living on it. The new kiddies coming on just for halo/getting a new 360 will be lining their wallets. Any later and the uproar would have been much larger.

The gaming scene is getting pretty boring. The only surprises seems to come from the more clique genre of Fighting games. (SF X Tekken and vice versa for example) with starcraft cleaning up the bits.
Otherwise, I'm actually enjoying the arcade and handheld world. XBL/consoles are money hungry. They need a hit similar to that of what we as an economy feel when we get a recession. ie Realize we can't keep doing this shit.

I've got to agree that gaming on my 360 has been boring me to tears lately... This is the stupid gaming industry aiming to release all the good titles around Christmas... the rest of the year is just pretty much crap.
