Sure looks like it. For a while I thought we wouldn't be getting DLC what with Bungie bailing out of the MS ship.

Probably map packs. Just another way to get another $10 or $15 out of a $60 purchase. Ugh. If they wanted the game to have Z amount of content, why do they release with X and charge for Y and Z? It's Halo, it'll sell well and they can easily offer free content after the initial sale. Also, new maps do not extend the life of a game, you need new elements and tactics.

I suppose it's mostly Microsoft, though, because every time Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 get DLC, it's free on PC and $7 on 360. Maybe Valve just has the right idea: it's not about money, it's about delivering an experience.

I've got real problems with online gaming atm... In Reach I have 1 kill (Yeah, frickin ONE kill... I suck heh) because of lag. I think something on my home network is causing the problem but can't isolate it as the lag comes and goes at random times. I've completed the Reach campaign on Heroic so I am not that bad at Reach itself... it's just the silly lag.

I think I will upgrade my network to gigabit next week... something I keep going to do but never get around to doing it, damnit.
