One of the reasons I stopped was to wait for the patch because of weird crap happening to me. Like getting chased out of New Vegas for sleeping in a bed that I was actually on really good terms with and it was an unallocated bed too... The damned AI went nuts on my ass lol... What was funnier was the guy who came up to me said something like "Make us chase you all over the desert... Now we have caught you"... I was inside their headquarters at the time lol.

Things such as that are the most common problems I encounter, but whenever they do I pass them off as simply part of my characters life. As if I was simply betrayed by that faction.

I would too... but in this case it was part of my character's DEATH!  Undecided

I've taken some time off this one, for the same reasons. 'Cept with me, my companions kept 'unfollowing' me. So I'd zip around, dumping off weapons and armor, selling stuff, only to realize none of my companions have been following me. Cue the hour long hunt where I finally find them in the absolute middle of nowhere, standing around.

Fourth or Fifth time that happened, I put it down. I have yet to try it patched, I hope that's fixed or I may put it down for good. It'd be a loss, cause i frackin love this game!

Hehe... Yeah... Arcade is the worst... He never follows you through doors more than 1 time in 4 it seems. I was trying to get the Remnant armour via his quests and the number of times I had to go back because he vanished on me... When I went to the airport I lost him over TEN TIMES.

Oh and can someone tell me why is it when you leave the entry hall on the dam your companions run up to the 1st floor, go out the door up there and then come down the steps... EVERY DARN TIME!.

There were a bunch of games rushed out this year... Fallout NV and Fable 3 were the buggiest of the bunch although Black Ops multiplayer seems to be a close runner up. Fable 3 wins the title though because it only has a single save game... so many people (me included) lost hours of play when the game went nutso.

Well I downloaded it. I wasn't expect the content to be that long considering it was less then 300mbs, but I was pleasantly surprised. I took me a number of hours, there was enough experience to get my character from level 30 to 34 before I finished. Most likely possible to hit 35.

Difficulty, quite hard actually, it is recommend by the game to not go until at least 20, my personnal recommendation is to go at a higher level, I had trouble at thirty.

The enemies
are the ghost people. They seem to have a mutation which allows rapid regeneration. You must blow a limb or it's head off to put it down permantly.

Then the holograms, they are invincible, they are easy to avoid, they only attack after a small warning, you need to use terminals to change things or destroy it's projector.

Three companions for it;

Christina:
A mute when you meet her, her companion perk helps avoid radios which their decayed frequency can set the bomb collar off.

She is also a member of the BoS, and I believe from conversations with her that she is veronica's girlfriend
.

Dog/God

A super mutant with two personallity, depending on which one is present depends on your perk. God allows you to sneak past traps. Dog's is that he eats ghost people so you don't need to blow the limbs off.

Dean Domino

You would of seen this name on the posters during load screens, this singer is now a ghoul. He knows the most about the Sierra Madra. His perk allows you to move around these red cloud areas more easily.

THe basic storyline behind the content is:
You get a radio transmission and follow it. After going into a room you get gassed and you wake up. All your equipment gone, but you have been given a weapon. A holorifle, a new energy weapon. Yow also have a bomb collar, the person who placed this was Elder Elijah, remember the Elder who Veronica told you about. Well he wants to get into this place so has you and the three companions all work together to do so, if one of you die, you all die.

After the content you can find a message from Father Elijah for Veronica, giving this to her will get her a new perk.

Overall, I found it an enjoyable content, quite easy to get lost though. Can't wait to see what else Obsidian has for us.

Once I have finished AC Brotherhood I will definitely get it. I got all the FO3 DLC and enjoyed them all...

I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised at the length of ACB and FO:NV. This is what I expect game length to be. By 2020 I expect FPS games to have maybe 2 levels for the whole game... RPG is definitely the winner in regards to the amount of game satisfaction.
