VGA 10: Exclusive Debut Trailer - Mass Effect 3 Small | Large

Nothing surprising. I'm a bit saddened by the War of the Worlds-esque trailer.

Lets hope while the reapers are there they can destroy the millennium Eye. I think it's really ugly.

Maybe we can actually go to earth this time around, I hope.

I also hope they give us quality instead of quantity in the squad. Because of the large number with had in ME2 I felt that some of the characters suffered for it.

Totally agree Guyyug, but sadly, this will not be the case lol.

The Reapers are coming to the UK to take part in the School Fees protests...

Hopefully they will succeed where Guy Fawkes failed. Wink

They are also showing how happy they are with Cameron's happiness survey.

In some ways I do think their writing team do not want to put as much depth into their characters as the dragon age team. I found all the Dragon age companions interesting. Including the DLCs and expansion pack there are twenty companions. Even with the short time we had with some of them they were interesting characters.

I lost interest in ME2 a LOT faster than ME1. I found the story in the original was a lot more robust than the second. Dunno if that is because the team didn't have as deep a background though... I think it is more that the good vs evil was confusing in this case because some good choices made Shep out to be a dick and vice versa.

Oh and Guyyug, I am now convinced that this Conservative government is full of Reaper agents... Osbourne is DEFINATELY one... Hell, I think I would rather have Ozzy Osbourne than George Osbourne.  Cheesy

I found I was much more entertained by ME1, and I think it is because of story. ME2 had better game play, but the story was better in ME1.

ME1 had some great paragon renegade choices. ME2's renegade choices usually ended up with you threatening to blow someone's head off.

I think Zhu's Hope is a good example. Either risk yourself by knocking them unconscious with melee or gas grenades, or just shoot them. It's really do it at any costs or do it the right way.

I like dragon age though for lack of morality metre. Because of it there are not any clear cut choices. Like in redcliff, you could either kill connor a ten year old boy, or sacrifice his mother to fight the demon in the fade.

What I am wondering is how they are going to keep proper story pacing with the Reaper invasion already going on.

What I really liked about the Mass Effect series as a whole was the fact that you got to take time for yourself. But with the reapers already invading, is it just going to be all fighting?

Good point, side mission are what add a lot of the length to RPGs. ME2 obviously had it that if you did other missions after your crew got abducted depending how long you took would end up with just the colonists dieing if you go straight away. Half the crew dieing for one mission, including kelly, and any more all but chakwas. I was annoyed for kelly dieing because of that. Who else is going to feed my fish?!?

Huge Reaper Army vs Shepard and Team.... Somehow a straight up fight is not going to happen I think... or if it is then I lose all respect for Bioware.

Let's face it, Shepard needs to find the exhaust port... and that means loadsa side missions to find the Reaper's Heel.

The Reaper invasion will most likely be the climax, not something going on throughout the whole game.
I imagine Reapers going straight to Earth to get rid of a large portion of humanity and destroy the morale of the survivors.
I also imagine that the story objective in this one will be getting everyone to believe in the Reaper threat and do something about it.
I also imagine the fate of Earth being the final paragon/renegade choice, save Earth and humanity, or save the rest of the galaxy, or something.

Andar excited.
