Mass Effect 2: Official Arrival DLC Trailer

downloaded and completed. God it is short, took just a little over and hour to complete. Not as good as overlord or lair of the shadow broker. I think the content was there to mainly foreshadow the release of mass effect 3. Interesting plot, but no real break throughs.

Seeing what Admiral Hackett looked like, was expecting it, I was guessing a more Hood from Halo look. Talked to harbinger, the trailer shows shepard talking to the collecter general controlled by harbinger, but I got the reaper itself because, I believe, is that I did the content after the destruction of the collector base.

Andar's Mini Review
Short.
Guns and shooting.
You cant bring a squad but its not that bad.
Button pushing.
The story is excellent, with the Reapers and the Batarians and the leading to Mass Effect 3 and what not.

Its disappointing ... but I would still recommend it. Its not bad, but it could have been better.

Oh for ****s sake... I can't even get this POS to run because I've got to re-download lair of the shadow broker just to get the bloody resume to work.

If it is as short as it sounds then I'm really pissed... Bioware are really getting crappy these days with shorter and shorter crap. I gave up with Dragon's Age 2 as it was like a frickin relay race going back and forward between the same areas all the damned time. DA1 was superior in every way. I think Bioware have passed their prime tbh.

Maybe it's the credit crunch with them trying to pass off "B" class product as "A" class megagames... I should have realised how crap Arrival would be considering they did the same with the last DLC for ME1.

A thing I liked about this one is a variety of new things.
Like one of the achievements said, you can do a bit of stealth work. And later there is a part where you hack a mech and actually control it. Well, besides that there wasnt much besides shooting your way through hallways of enemies, but I thought the ideas were cool and should have been expanded on.
Like stealth missions are .... stealth missions ..... and mechs could be used to solve puzzles or to stealth it up a bit more.

Do you get a horrendous startup lag after you install the latest update? I hit start and the screen blanks out for a minute or so... I kept rebooting the 360 because I thought it kept hanging totally but after a while it does come back.... then it takes forever to link to Cerberus Network... and then says Cerb has stopped anyway lol.

I'm still waiting for it to download Lair so I can resume the bloody save game.

I completed it and now I can't remember what the bloody thing was about... it was THAT rememberable.

(and nope... I didn't just say this for a laugh... I really cannot remember what the damned thing was about other than something about the reapers arriving in 2 days).
