So Osama has been finally terminated.

Several things I never new about OBL is that 9/11 was all down to Saddam Hussein's butterfly. What I mean is this...

    1. Saddam invades Kuwait
    2. US moves into Saudi Arabia with armed forces including FEMALE soldiers
    3. Osama feels that having female soldiers is blasphemy
    4. Al-Qaeda fly planes into twin towers

... so if Saddam hadn't have invaded Kuwait then it is quite possible that the twin towers would be still standing. I always wondered why Iraq was invaded a second time. Wasn't just for the oil it seems... was because Saddam was found to cause of 9/11.

Oh yeah, and it was Jack Bauer who killed him... that is why 24 was cancelled... so Obama could hire him to go kill Osama.

Thing is, bin laden was actually quite close to a Pakistani military base for quite some time.

I think the Pakistani gov knew that the Americans were close to finding OBL because they were about to order American forces out of Pakistan.

Pakistani military officials have asked the US to scale back its CIA operations in the south Asian country, as American intervention in the nation is yielding more and more accidental casualties and raising tensions among citizens.

Gen. Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, chief of the Pakistani Army, personally asked for the US to reduce the number of CIA operative and Special Operation forces in Pakistan, while also calling for the States to halt CIA drone strikes that target militants in the northwest part of the country. These unmanned aircrafts have come under fire recently for erroneously identifying Pakistani civilians for Taliban insurgents, and reports says that General Kayani has told Obama that his drone campaign has become “out of control.” One strike this past February resulted in nearly two dozen civilian deaths, with another drone attack this month causing the first instances of US death as a result of drone friendly fire.

I think they were worried that they were going to find OBL there more than worried about the civilians. The government do worse to their own people apparently. That caste thing again.

Oh and I was watching it as it happened last night... the talking heads were getting it sooooo wrong it was ridiculous. Even after Obama's speech they were saying that he had been killed in Islamabad... they would get corrected and then say near Islamabad... if 75 miles is near hehe.

Oh and they only killed OBL now because they are pushing Obama for another term and they also wanted the world to shup up about the Royal Wedding.

The Pakistani High Commissioner makes a booboo... He accidentally let out that Osama had only arrived there a few days previous... and then when the interviewer says that the US obviously didn't trust them because they didn't inform the Pakistani Government until AFTER the operation the minister says "It was all Wikileaks" lol.

This guy was sweating buckets and was dropping tells faster than a man with his nuts in a vice. They KNEW Osama was there... that's why the US didn't tell Pakistan.

From an American point of view, my neighborhood was practically celebrating Osama's death. Twas a bit funny at first, until the crowd got bigger, then common sense went out the window in favor of lemming logic. Then a block party ensues and ends on the same day.

Oh and they only killed OBL now because they are pushing Obama for another term and they also wanted the world to shup up about the Royal Wedding.

Hell, I wanted people to shut up about that wedding. I kinda wanted something bad to happen at the wedding, but I would've guesses not even a flea, let alone someone insane, would escape the scope of any snipers posted there.

It upsets me as well.
According to my AP Euro teacher and his supposed "sources," the US knew Osama's location for a while but didnt want to take him down due to not knowing for sure who would take his place. Just what he said, I don't know but that makes sense to me.
And I also agree with something happening to get people to forget there was a wedding.
I feel like agreeing today ....

This was about OBL's trusted courier...

US officials have identified him as Kuwait-born Pakistani, Abu Ahmad al-Kuwaiti, and say he was Bin Laden's "most trusted" courier.

They said they had been keeping an eye on him since 2002 and that he owned the house where Bin Laden was hiding.

They also said he was killed along with Bin Laden during the 2 May raid.

To his neighbours in the town's Hashmi Colony, though, the owner of the house was known as Arshad Khan - a tall, robust man in his late 30s or early 40s.

Nobody has seen him since the raid.

OF COURSE NOBODY HAS SEEN HIM... HE'S DEAD FFS! 

How many peeps think that OBL is either still alive and in custody or his corpse is still being held and was not buried at sea?

i think he was kidnapped and is being held somewhere. i find it hard to believe that the seals would have double tapped an un armed man lunging at them. seems to valuable of a target just to take out.
