The next New Vegas DLC comes out next Tuesday.

Quote
Honest Hearts takes the player on an expedition to the unspoiled wilderness of Utah’s Zion National Park. Things go horribly wrong when your caravan is ambushed by a tribal raiding band. As you try to find a way back to the Mojave, you become embroiled in a war between tribes and a conflict between a New Canaan missionary and the mysterious Burned Man. The decisions you make will determine the fate of Zion.

The Burned man was a character who was supposed to be in the original FO3 but that was cancelled and Bethesda brought the rights to the FO games. He is mentioned once or twice in NV already.

Honest Hearts, like Dead Money, will raise the level cap by 5.
Chris Avellone has confirmed that you will be able to return to Zion after completing the DLC.
According to the trailer, there will be a weather system in the DLC.
Although not unique to the DLC, several extremely rare weapons such as the Shishkebab and the Mantis Gauntlet make an appearance. In the Mojave Wastelant, these weapons appear very rarely in the inventory list of high level weapon merchants.

I remember the Legionnaires mentioning the Burned Man several times... Didn't they throw him off a cliff or something?

Yeh. He was the Legate who led the first attack on hoover dam. Lost so Ceaser had him covered in pitch, set alight and thrown into the grand canyon,

Well I've played honest hearts. I say average, it played well, I didn't encounter any bugs besides you seeing the creatures actually spawn in front of you.

The person who hires you wishes that everyone travel light so you can only have 75 pounds of equipment on you, with checks 100. I had to leave my anti-material rifle at home.  Cry Though didn't matter for too long though, which niggles at me, I found one almost straight away being used by one of the attacking tribals, TRIBALS! These guys seemed to be as well equipped as the NCR or Legion. A number of new weapons, pretty decent, though not many unique ones laying around.

You get them all in a chest the moment you finish the content. There is a unique service rifle in a duffel bag though.

Also obsidian didn't overlook what Bethesda did with Point Lookout. The new weapons, with mods and Ammo are available for purchase from merchants in the Mojave, which is good because I found barely any .45 ammo for the .45 pistol or SMG (Looks like a thompson) in Zion.

So decent if you want a new place to explore with about an extra 2-3 hours of content. Though you do find out a bit about the burned man.

Another content out in June, and then another in July, which both have been foreshadowed in Dead Money and now Honest Hearts. Both with raise cap by 5 each bringing it to 50.

Ended up bringing my own anti-materiel rifle and Ranger Sequoia into the DLC. The latter was strangely enough, more useful than the former against the White Leg SOB's solely because I had more shots available in VATS mode. True iron sights are nothing short of useless here as the enemy here can inflict painful and accurate potshots.

And compared to the Capital Wasteland Yao Guai, the ones here are real monsters. Gotta love armor-piercing rounds.

I took with me, Ranger Sequoia, Dinner Bell and This Machine. I found Dinner Bell highly useful against the creatures, back peddling firing 12 gauge magnum into them, but not against the Tribals. The .45 SMG when fully repaired with the two mods, (Less spread and drum magazine) are great at tearing apart, well anything at close range. Glad the Shishkebab is back, I had a character in FO3 who used it alot, with pyromaniac it went through even deathclaws.

And Yao Guai, even deathclaws and almost anything else that was in FO3 is more dangerous in New Vegas.
