Yeah... Aliens invading on TV with V (cancelled thank god), The Event (also cancelled damnit... was good), and Falling Skies (which starts on the 19th... bet it gets cancelled at the end of the season). Then at the movies you have Skyline (sucked) and Battle Los Angeles (which I haven't seen yet), Cowboys and Aliens, Super 8, Apollo 18 (although that is more Invasion Moon than Invasion Earth)... etc, etc. I suppose you could even include Transformers: Dark of the Moon in there too.
So Aliens are the new Vampires it seems. Just wish the bloody TV series would be able to develop without getting frickin cancelled all over the damned place.
