Yeah its my fifth or sixth i dunno really i stopped keeping a good count after 4 and it is weird that every time a new racing game comes out my console craps out.

LOL... I never noticed that... but yeah... Forza and now Blur...
You must be driving too fast and the mouse can't spin the treadwheel fast enough heh.

God i love Canada's Mircosoft support for the xbox, i sent it off last monday and got this email today: Dear Brandon Meadors,
An Xbox 360 console has been shipped to you from our service center. They even gave me the serial # of the console being sent and its a new console, the one i sent in was 5 months past its manufacturer warranty and had been repaired once before for an E75 error. Should have it back by Friday, Canada RULES! lol |

Well haggard I'll let you know cos mine crapped out tonight!
Got the three flashing rings so registered it online (thought I already had but hey ho) and although my warranty ran out march 2009 this fault is covered till march 2011. Not sure how they came up with that date as it was bought new in 2007 and he manufacture date is 2007-11-12 so whichever way you look at it the thing is less than 3 years old and I must have got it pretty fresh off the production line as it was Christmas time I got it!!!
Gutted but at least it's covered for free...

Grrr bloody ups reckoned they were delivering my shipping box today but didn't - hardly a surprise when the tracking revealed it only left dusseldorf this morning....  Anyone care to tell me the proceedure once I've got the box. Do I pack the xbox up and contact them or what??? |

Got it picked up from my work today (ups come in around twice a day!) so now it's just the waiting game to see how long the turnaround is... I took photos of mine so I can compare the manufacture date with what I get back as I guess it won't be my original one.  Funny how I don't get to play it that often yet now it's gone I'm missing it like he'll. |

Grrr, goddam ups were scheduled to deliver my xbox today then I see on the tracking note that "an exception has occurred as a valid house number is required" which translates as the driver couldn't be arsed so fecked off early back to the depot!  I really was looking forward to playing tonight after the crap day I've had at work. Waaaaaaaaaaaaa |

Finally got it back today, 19 days after it died. The case looks the same but it's got a new label with the same serial as before but now says service date instead of manufacture date. The board is different though as I had to change the mac address in my router as I use fixed ip addresses for everything and it was assigned the next one in the list instead of the one I wanted. Good to be back up and running anyway.... (not sure why I bothered posting though as it's like a ghost town in here lately!!!) |

Great. My console RRoD's a month after the end of the warranty. Typical. It died after downloading the Quantum Theory demo.
Anyway, I'm thinking about not even bothering with getting another 360 because I'm too fed up with it now. I may sell all of my games and save up for a gaming PC (not like the games would be worth much, anyway).
EDIT: Oh yes. Once again, the last game I played was CoD: World at War, and I was playing it at night. This was how my previous console died, and now this one. Yes, there's a pattern here.
